Electronic Job Postings

Employers have the opportunity to list full-time, internship or cooperative education positions via our web based recruiting system known as HuskyCareerLink. Opportunities posted electronically by employers are viewed by UConn students and alumni, who then apply for the positions through the system. Resumes and other supporting documents are sent to the employer via email as they are submitted.

Returning and new employers may access the system at https://uconn-csm.symplicity.com/employers/

On-Campus Recruiting

Every year, the Department of Career Services invites employers to actively recruit UConn students for full-time permanent positions, internships, cooperative education and volunteer opportunities. The University of Connecticut Recruiting Program provides a convenient and efficient way to connect with viable candidates. Recruiting services include conducting on campus interviews, posting available jobs via our web based recruiting system, and/or conducting a candidate search. Employers can also meet and talk with students at recruiting events such as the annual Career Fair, Internship & Co-op Career Fair, Human Services/Non-Profit Career Fair, Education Recruitment Fair, and the Just In Time Career Fair.

For more information about our Recruiting Program, contact Career Services at recruiting@uconn.edu.

On Campus Interviews

On campus interviews provide employers with a convenient and efficient way to interview viable candidates for available opportunities. Interview dates are available during both the Fall and Spring semesters, and employers are encouraged to contact us at recruiting@uconn.edu to request an interview date.

Directions for employers wanting to participate in the on-campus interviewing program may be found below.

Candidate Search

This recruiting service provides employers with the opportunity to browse our on-line resume books in search of candidates for their available positions. Once identified, qualified candidates are contacted directly by the employer, who then arranges a screening and/or interview independently of Career Services. For more information on how to conduct a candidate search, please contact Career Services at recruiting@uconn.edu.

Career Fairs

Three recruitment events are held annually by Career Services on the UConn campus, giving employers several opportunities to connect with our students. The Career Fair is held in early Fall and hosts representatives from approximately 150 companies and organizations. These representatives make themselves available to meet and talk with approximately 2,000 students and alumni about their companies and the employment opportunities available. The Internship/Co-op Career Fair, held in February, provides an opportunity for businesses and government agencies to meet with students and focus specifically on cooperative education, internship and summer career-related experiences. Also in February, Career Services and Community Outreach host human services and non-profit organizations for our annual Careers for the Common Good Fair.

Information Sessions

In conjunction with their on-campus visit to conduct interviews, employers can also host an information session, which provides an opportunity to meet informally with candidates prior to their interviews. Information sessions can also be used by employers not conducting interviews as a way to promote awareness of their company and market job opportunities available for graduating students. For questions regarding information sessions, contact Career Services at recruiting@uconn.edu.

Promoting Your Organization at UConn

In the event of inclement weather, please visit the main UConn website at http://news.uconn.edu/emergency_closings.php for information related to cancellations or closings. In the event that the University has a delayed opening or is closed due to weather, interviews will be cancelled and a member of our staff will contact you to reschedule your visit.
