I Can Use My TikTok Account For What? – Career Advice Through TikTok

It is no question that TikTok has consumed the lives of many people over the last year. If you aren’t on the app yet, this is your call to action! TikTok is a social media platform where content creators can post short videos ranging from 15 seconds – 1 minute. As you interact with different videos, the TikTok algorithm will curate a page of videos (the For You Page) that are based on topics and content you like, the scrolling is endless!

How Can I Use Tik Tok to Take Charge of My Career?

Although its main purpose is to entertain, I come across valuable life advice, tips and learn something new from the app every day. Today I’d like to share how you can use your TikTok account to own your professional and career development. Several TikTok creators are professional career coaches, past hiring managers, or members of the workforce. These creators have dedicated channels to sharing tips and tricks about making the most of your college experience, finding an internship, networking, and applying for jobs.

I love these channels because the career advice is provided in such a rapid-fire way showcasing all the best practices. If you have a question, some creators will look to the comments and answer directly from their followers.
