UConn School of Engineering’s Peer Mentor Program

UConn’s School of Engineering’s Peer Mentor Program is a student-to-student connection available for all School of Engineering undergraduates. The program consists of 7 mentors, all with the skill set to provide assistance in various capacities as it relates to:

  • Working in StudentAdmin/PeopleSoft and student-facing software
  • Course selection (per resources provided by the advising team)
  • Institutional navigation
  • Experiential perspective
  • Knowledge of resources and office functionality
  • Plus A LOT more!

The Peer Mentor Program also offers one-on-one mentoring for students who register. Based on qualitative data and caseload, School of Engineering undergraduates can complete a simple survey and within days, will be paired with a mentor. From there, the mentor and mentee will create a schedule based on need and mutual availability for extra support.
