This Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher at Google shares the scoop on all things UXR

New product development teams need to have a good understanding of their users before even starting to think about developing products for them. A person’s needs, wants, pain points, and thought processes are all important considerations. User experience (UX) researchers systematically study target users to collect and analyze data that will help inform the product design process through methods such as usability testing, interviews, questionnaires, and contextual observations.

Aona Yang (AonaTalks) is a Senior UX Researcher at Google whose channel I happened to discover one day while I was scrolling through YouTube. She creates educational UXR videos, shares career advice, and discusses her experience working in Silicon Valley. Yang also branched into career coaching and offers one-on-one mentorship on her website.

If you have an interest in studying how people think and interact with products, check out her channel here.
