Latino Economic Development Center’s Entrepreneur Training for Success Program

Starting a business is no easy feat, but with the right support, you can turn your idea into reality. There are a number of opportunities for Latinx individuals with innovative business plans for future companies and products. More specifically, the Latino Economic Development Center promotes Latina businesswomen through a specialized program.

The Latino Economic Development Center offers a three-month program for Latina entrepreneurs who are from regions of DC and Maryland. The Entrepreneur Training for Success is a 60-hour program in which participants will develop their skills and knowledge in leadership, business, and the workforce. Students who enter the program will obtain training in micro-entrepreneurship and financial literacy to aid in the growth of their personal business plans. Additionally, participants are paired with a mentor who can provide advice and knowledge on how to achieve their business plan goals.

This opportunity is offered twice a year and the upcoming fall enrollment will begin in August.
