“Teach for Australia” offers an extremely useful virtual experience program called “Leading a Classroom”. Teach for Australia’s program allows you to gain experience in doing the work of teachers by observing teachers, then creating a short activity for your students to create.
This is a self-paced, virtual experience which takes about two hours to complete. First, you will observe experts and see how they engage students, then you will plan an engaging presentation with the growth mindset. Finally, you will deliver a presentation incorporating what you have learned. At the end of this experience, you will earn a personalized certificate which you can showcase on your resume , CV and LinkedIn. There are many other benefits to this experience, such as gaining real work experience, and being shortlisted for exclusive opportunities.
