Amelinda Vazquez Rossitto

Senior Associate Director

In my role, I oversee the Center’s strategic vision for in-person and virtual career readiness programming for UConn Nation. On average, our team hosts about 500 workshops and events for UConn students in and out of the classroom annually. In addition to career development programs, I manage Career Everywhere and the Career Champion Program.  Both Career Everywhere and the Career Champion Program focus on building and sustaining relationships with UConn’s community and equipping them with the tools and resources they need to have career conversations with UConn students.

Things I enjoy: I love traveling and exploring new places. My dream places to visit are Egypt and Italy. I also love organizing things, crafting using my Cricut, trying new restaurants and cuisines, and the occasional night of staying up late to binge watching a series.

Advice to students: Focus on your own timeline. Try not to compare your timeline to others.
