How have you personally used and benefited from the Center for Career Development?
I have used the Center for Career Development in many ways. I have had résumés critiqued, cover letters read, and served as a CLAS Career Ambassador for two years. I definitely wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for the Center giving great advice on developing professionally!

What are your future career goals?
I’m interested in going to grad school to study sociology and statistics. I feel exploring these topics in greater detail will help me in my pursuit of criminal justice reform. I also want to write extensively on the topic of diversity, equity, and inclusion, whether that be for the organization I work for or freelancing articles for various publications

What are some extracurricular activities that you are involved in?
I am part of UConn Hip-Hop Initiative, where we hold weekly freestyle cyphers and music discussions. I also enjoy weightlifting at the Rec Center and the occasional hike.

What is something unique about you?
I love to write! Whether it’s the writing I do at work, journaling, or writing raps, I love how it clarifies my thoughts.
