Application for Center for Career Development’s Internship Courses: UNIV 1981 and 1881

Complete the online application as thoroughly as you are able. Applications must be received prior to the internship starting (allow time for processing).
UNIV 1881 and UNIV 1981 may only be taken twice. If you have already done so, reach out to the Career Center internship team to discuss other departments that offer internship credit. If you have taken it once before and are returning to the same employer, the work performed must be different or more advanced. Describe how the work will be different from the first experience, in the internship description text box.
If your department has a course, indicate the intern coordinator's name. If not, state your academic advisor. Identify their role, advisor or internship class coordinator/instructor, when writing in their name
Include the organization's name, where they are located (city/state), and the department you will be interning in.
Some students like for the agency/business where they interned, to be listed on their transcript along with the course.
