The Black Law Students Association at the UConn School of Law has been named a National Chapter of the Year for 2021, recognizing the events and community service its members carried out in a time upended by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jessica has been an active member of the Career Champions Program for the past several semesters and has dedicated her time to providing students with career advice and information.
Siara Maldonado (she/her/hers) graduated from UConn in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Health with Honors. She is currently pursuing a dual Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health through the University of Maryland Baltimore and John Hopkins University and working remotely for Mount Sinai’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
