Career Conversation with Author Nikkya Hargrove

In celebration of Women’s History Month, join us for an inspiring talk with Lambda Literary Nonfiction Fellow Nikkya Hargrove. Her uplifting memoir, Mama, details her life as she navigates post-graduate life, love, and motherhood after adopting her baby brother. Everyone is welcome to attend this interactive event meant to leave you inspired and ready to face life’s challenges. Lunch will be provided, and UConn students will have the chance to win a copy of Mama. Hosted by the Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills, the UConn Stamford Library, The Space, RISE, CAPS, and faculty from Sociology, English, Psychology and Human Development & Family Sciences.
