Description of Internship Site: Nutmeg Publishing is a student run publishing club that visualizes and creates content for the Nutmeg Yearbook and Nutmeg Magazine. The Nutmeg Yearbook has been published since 1915. It features everything from student life and important events to individual portraits of the graduating seniors. The Nutmeg Magazine has been published since 2015. It is a free online magazine with articles on student life and UConn culture.

Description of Internship Position: Staff photographers will attend and photograph campus events for the Nutmeg Yearbook and Nutmeg Magazine. This provides photographers with portfolio work, and grants them access to exciting events such as the spring concert, speakers, etc via Nutmeg’s press passes. Photographers must attend a weekly 30 minute meeting with the photography team and have the ability to attend events, and meet quick submission deadlines.
