|Description of Internship Site:||The UConn Foundation is the organization responsible for development and alumni engagement at the University of Connecticut. Within this organization, the department of digital engagement is responsible for social media management, website development, and email marketing.|

|Description of Internship Position:||The UConn Foundation is looking for a tech-savvy writer to help create content for the new UConn Alumni website. This is a great chance for an aspiring digital marketer or web content creator to learn about these growing fields. The chief responsibility for this position will be to freshen up—and in many cases, recreate—page copy on uconnalumni.com. The intern will also assist the Digital Engagement team in updating both uconnalumni.com and foundation.uconn.edu with edits to pages and articles, ensuring that they both adhere to a consistent style guide and meet best practices for accessibility and user experience.|
|Additional Important Details:||
Demonstrated knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms and exceptional writing skills are required.
Knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred.
