Thank you for your interest in the NRCA Difference Maker Mentor (DMM) positions! As a DMM, undergraduates serve as program leaders of the  NRCA Conservation Ambassador Program (CAP) field experience and near-peer mentors to CAP teens. We seek undergraduates from diverse majors and backgrounds who are passionate about mentoring teens, collaborating on community-based environmental, and promoting culturally sustaining, inclusive and equitable practices. Fellowships support a wide spectrum of public health laboratory program areas, such as: bioinformatics, biosafety and biosecurity, emergency preparedness and response, environmental health, infectious disease, informatics, food safety, newborn screening, and quality management. Each fellow will be trained in alignment with established public health laboratory core competencies and functions and will work on unique program-specific projects and other initiatives in host laboratories.
