American Ballet Theatre (ABT) is currently accepting intern applications for Summer 2021.

American Ballet Theatre provides professional opportunities for young adults looking to gain invaluable experience in the fields of arts education and arts administration.

Through project-based activities, interns will assist within a specific department, and be introduced to the daily functions that take place in making ABT one of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world. In addition to working with their mentors, interns participate in weekly meetings that promote professional development and provide opportunities to hear from leaders within the organization. Interns may also assist with a variety of special events, gaining exposure to important figures in the arts community.

Internships are currently offered in the following areas:

Development

-Major Gifts

-Membership

-Patron Services

-Special Events

-Institutional Support

Education

-ABT Training Programs

Executive

-Executive Office

Marketing

Dates: May 28, 2021 – August 6, 2021

Please include a resume and cover letter (specifically stating which internship you are applying) as well as a completed Internship Application Form found through the external application link on Handshake.

Letters of recommendation are encouraged, but not required.

Stipend: $175/month
