Mid-Level Land Surveyor

Description:

If you are an early career surveyor seeking advancement, or an experienced surveyor wanting to make a change, this opportunity may be just what you are looking for.

A top Fairfield County land surveying and civil engineering firm is seeking experienced candidates to join their team to support a busy workload. For the position, the candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types including residential, commercial and institutional. These candidates should have experience in the processing and preparation of all types of surveys, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys and construction layout.

Responsibilities include performing fieldwork, processing and mapping of fieldwork, and coordination among the various stakeholders of a given project, including clients and in-house teams of surveyors, engineers and planners.

The requirements of this role:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Detail oriented
  • Project management
  • Good math skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software application is required
  • Land surveying licensing a plus, but not required
  • Willingness and ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Individual must be reliable and hard-working
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
