The Social Media intern will report to the Owners of Brandology and is responsible for promoting clientele via high quality graphics and video content. The position will include assisting in the management of a client portfolio, content shooting, editing, posting, and engagement. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding and passion for social media, a desire to learn more about different forms of content creation through: video and photo shooting, editing, and the ability to produce creative and innovative content that drives engagement with our local CT brands.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assisting Owners with management of:

  • Content calendar creation; including: content topics, copywriting, and monthly hashtag research
  • Content recording; including: video and photo shoots
  • Content editing and creation; this would include static posts and reels/tiktok videos
  • Create and execute social media contests and promotions
  • Weekly trend research
  • Client profile optimization
  • Account data review; including: monthly data review and presentation creation

Specific Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong knowledge of social media; including: Instagram and TikTok
  • Experience with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Experience with video editing software such as: Adobe Suite, Videoleap, CapCut, etc (Does not need to know all, just some level of knowledge is fine)
  • Ability to 20-30 hours per week
  • The position will be a hybrid position (mostly remote, content shoots will be in person at client locations)

*Looking to have interns start: May 30th. Summer internship will be for college credit
