The Memory and Aging Program (MAP), a global leader in research targeting a preventative treatment for Alzheimer’s disease, is seeking a full-time grant accountant to help us maintain and build our research portfolio. Responsibilities include preparing industry sponsored budgets and federal grant applications/submissions for research trials, preparing vendor agreements and contracts, purchasing supplies for clinical trials, billing and invoicing for research trials, filling out invoice tracking spreadsheets, assisting business manager with monthly budget reconciliation and expense accounting. Individual will also work closely with Care New England’s Research Finance Department. Other job-related duties as requested.
Bachelor’s degree required and a concentration in business/accounting is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and being a self-starter are must have qualities for the position. Knowledge of Quicken Books and Microsoft Excel preferred, as is 1-2 years book keeping experience.
