The Office of the Mayor is seeking an intern to assist the mayor and staff with administrative, staffing, and special projects as needed. Under general supervision, from the mayor, chief of staff, and executive aide the intern is to perform routine office tasks including routine office tasks, assist the economic development liaison, and any other related work as requested.

A successful intern would be a student registered at a Connecticut institution of higher education, to receive credit for the internship. The candidate must have good computer and people skills and an interest in policy and politics. During the term, the student must be able to research, write, and analyze complex federal, government, and municipal issues with an ability to understand and convey them.
