SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
CITY PLAN DEPARTMENT
SALARY: $59,408 – $72,620 ANNUALIZED
REMOVAL DATE: SEPTEMBER 24, 2021
This is highly responsible professional and technical work in the City Plan Department. Work involves staff responsibility for the direction and administration of numerous complex development and planning projects. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director with latitude for the exercise of independent professional judgement, and is reviewed through conferences and evaluation of results.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS include:
Graduation from a four year college or university with major course work in planning, public or business administration, law, or a related field; and three to five years of experience in urban planning, economic or real estate development, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, abilities and skills as stated in the job description, including but not limited to: Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of urban planning and economic development; Considerable knowledge of the financial and legal aspects of urban real estate development and public/private partnerships; Considerable knowledge of administrative and evaluation procedures; Knowledge of municipal, state and federal government structure and relations; Ability to supervise the work of other departmental staff and consultants; Ability to structure proposals for projects and programs to advance City development objectives.
