What impact you’ll make

As an intern you will support the team in evaluating new project and market opportunities and manage portfolio assets by providing analytical, market research, and documentation support.

 

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)

 

  • Analyze and develop detailed financial models to support structuring, valuation, and risk analysis on projects and companies.
  • Assist in preparing pitches, memos, and other documentation for internal approval processes and internal reports.
  • Manage routine activities of portfolio assets, including operating reviews, quarterly reporting, and valuations.
  • Conduct industry and company research, including risk analysis.
  • Prioritize and complete a multitude of complex projects on short timelines.
  • Manage projects to ensure administrative compliance with deal terms and establish, implement, and monitor operational reporting metrics.
  • Support special projects, Lean initiatives, new business development opportunities.

 

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Completing a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, finance, accounting, economics, or other quantitative academic background, graduating in 2027
  • GPA of 3.5 or above (out of a 4.0 scale)

 

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future. (e.g., U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)

 

What will make you stand out (Desired Qualifications)

  • Exposure to the energy industry
  • Understanding of financial statements, basic accounting, and valuation
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Understanding of three-statement financial modeling and strong proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to generate data-driven outputs and recommendations with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with the principles of project finance and tax equity investments
  • Skilled communicator who is able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

The pay for this position ranges from $22-27/hr. based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed

This position is also eligible for:

  • Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
  • Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
  • Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services
  • GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
