- Take part in a 5-week, comprehensive training program in-person at NRG’s Houston, TX headquarters.
- Following training, you will perform your role from the Houston headquarters for the balance of the 6-month program. After completion you may stay in Houston or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA or Princeton, NJ. Location will be decided and discussed during the hiring process.

Job Description
The analyst role is a support role within the NRG Business team. This position aims to learn the basics of processing, offering, and closing a deal. Analysts will learn to manage the business process for energy transactions from start to finish, with account setup, pricing, and closing being the position’s primary responsibilities. Success in this position hinges on superb communication skills, ability to multi-task, time management skills, and ability to learn deal closing/customer communication skills.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Process / facilitate requests for deal setup, pricing, structuring, and contracting
- Communicates clearly with internal team members
- Responsible for the quality and timely completion of deal processing
- Responsible for developing proficiency in internal sales / operational processes and systems
- Responsible for developing a working knowledge of simple deals (products/contract structures)
- Perform customer research and or contact customers, as requested by managers
- Ad hoc projects as required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Ability to influence change across an organization
- Experience with designing, developing, and implementing solutions to growth opportunities and project-based issues
