Overview
- Prepare journal entries for month-end closing
- Perform variance analysis on select accounts
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts to accounting subledgers
- Review purchase requisitions and assign proper GL/department coding
- Conduct walkthroughs and perform interviews to understand plant processes and internal controls
- Verify journal mapping for the new ERP system
Qualifications
- Rising Junior in college/university, pursuing Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- Strong business acumen and analytical ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Self-motivated and bias for action.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Demonstrated personal and professional values.
