We are the UConn student subunit affiliated with the the American Fisheries Society – Southern New England Chapter. The AFS UConn student organization is a great organization to get involved with if you are interested in fisheries sciences, aquatics or related fields. We are dedicated towards community involvement and fisheries education and conservation. Club events range from stream clean-ups to volunteering with the Connecticut Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) and we are always looking for the next great idea!
