We are a group of women on campus interested in connecting through strength training. Our mission is to empower women to step out of their comfort zone and try new things while working out. There are no requirements to join, and our members are of all different strengths, knowledge, and skill levels.
As a club, we provide resources to those just starting out. Our members also have the chance to mentor or be mentored based on their knowledge and interest. During a typical meeting, we focus on connecting with each other and presenting useful fitness/lifting information. This semester, we hope to grow our Instagram (@uconnlift) and invite expert guests to our meetings.
