The Wildlife Society UConn Chapter is a recognized student chapter of The Wildlife Society, a national professional organization whose mission statement reads, in part: “TWS’s mission is to represent and serve the professional community of scientists, managers, educators, technicians, planners, and others who work actively to study, manage, and conserve wildlife and its habitats worldwide.” The UConn Chapter focuses on promoting wildlife conservation through both education and action.
We also go on weekend (usually Saturday) trips to enjoy and learn more about wildlife. Come with us to Magic Wing’s Butterfly Conservatory, the Southwick Zoo, New England Aquarium, to see wolves, and go whale watching, hiking, or photographing!
