Find an Internship and Co-op (On and Off Campus)

Internships and co-ops can help you enhance one or more of the NACE competencies. Here are some examples of how students have benefited in the past:

  • Fen applied her critical and teamwork competencies  when working with a team  to create a new process, while completing a co-op with a national company located in Hartford, CT.
  • Pat enhanced their communication and  career and self-development competencies during their summer internship by having career conversations and informational interviews with senior administrators at their organization.

If you are interested in sharing your own experience with us please email theodore.menounos@uconn.edu. Sharing your competency development inspires other students to think about where and how they can gain competencies within and beyond UConn.

The Center for Career Development has many resources that will help you get started in your search for an Internship.
