Handshake

Searching for your next opportunity? Check out UConn’s job recruiting platform for students and alumni, Handshake, where thousands of employers post their openings. While roles are typically geared towards entry-level positions for new graduates, many employers post advanced opportunities as well.  

To create your Handshake account:  

1. Go to Handshake 
2. Use your UConn email address to create a new account (or personal email address if you no longer use your UConn email) 
3. Within 2 business days from submission of the form, you will receive access to your account

Career Fairs

The Center for Career Development welcomes hundreds of employers to campus each year to recruit UConn students and graduates for their opportunities. While roles are primarily targeted towards entry-level positions, internships, and co-ops, alumni are welcome to attend. Before the fair, you can prepare by logging into Handshake to view which employers are planning to attend and the roles they are hiring for.
