2021-2022 Undergraduate Intern or Co-op of the Year Award

Open to current undergraduate students who completed an internship or co-op experience upon matriculation to the university, during summer 2021, fall 2021, or spring 2022. Past UNDERGRADUATE Student Intern or Co-op of the Year award winners are not eligible to apply.

  • Applicants must currently be in good standing with the University.
  • Students who earned credit for the internship are eligible to apply if the internship was not associated with a course, major, or degree requirement.
  • On-campus internships and co-ops are eligible.
  • Internships must have lasted at least eight weeks, for a minimum of 10 hours per week, and not less than 80 hours total; co-ops must have been authorized by the University.
  • Experiences not considered for the awards: job shadowing, clinical, student teaching, medical rotations, and practicums.

To be considered, students will need to complete an online application which includes an updated résumé, an unofficial copy of your transcript, and the responses to four questions, some in essay form. Applicants will submit an unofficial transcript, as well as a current résumé and that includes the internship or co-op experience. Applicants are highly recommended to have their résumé reviewed in an Undergraduate Résumé Critique and to use the W Center for writing support, prior to submission.
