Student employee evaluations play a critical piece in a student’s learning, however having discussions with students about their performance (especially when it is below expectations) can be difficult. In this session we review the importance of setting performance expectations, share techniques for facilitating difficult conversations, discuss actions supervisors can take with their student employees to improve performance, and provide additional information on the student employment disciplinary process.
