After sending multiple resumes, networking, and interviewing, it is an exciting moment when a student shares that they have a job offer. Along with the excitement, a student may also have important questions on how to handle the offer to ensure that they are making an informed decision. In this session, Tara Malone, Associate Director of the Center for Career Development Regional Campuses, will share tips and resources on how to help students to navigate the job offer process. Learn how to advise students on: researching and benchmarking a starting salary range, evaluating the full offer including benefits, preparing what to say and ask the recruiter, managing more than one offer, and more. Tara will be joined by employers who will share the employer’s perspective from both the non-profit and corporate sectors.
