This session is for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars, in any discipline, who seek tips to strengthen an American-style curriculum vitae (CV), resume, and cover letter.

During this workshop you will learn about format, considerations for content, and options for featuring your experiences and skills within each distinct document.

Attendees are encouraged to bring drafts in paper or electronic form.

The Negotiation Workshop

This session is for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars, in any discipline, who seek to gain skills in negotiating salary and other aspects of a job offer. Participants will learn how to prepare to negotiate, rules and etiquette of the process, and tips for success. Part of this session will also involve conversations around specific cases, enabling participants to consider and apply different approaches to various scenarios.
