The Center for Career Development grieves with the nation and stands in solidarity with the Black community in condemning the killing of George Floyd and opposing systemic racism. The Career Center’s foundational values continue to support respect for all of our partners as we aspire to inclusiveness, diversity of thought and action, and open-mindedness. Our office is currently engaged in open dialogue around the impacts of systemic racism on the career development process and the students of color we work with and is committed to additional training and education for our staff to become more equipped to address these impacts. We will consistently challenge and question ourselves to ensure we are always doing our best to be open-minded, welcoming, and inclusive while upholding our values in every action we take and every interaction we have with students, faculty, staff, alumni, corporate partners and members of the broader community. Please let us know how we can better support and serve you.
