Attending a career fair is a great way to connect with potential employers and explore different opportunities. Employers from various industries will be present, offering internships, co-op positions, and full-time job opportunities. Remember to research the participating companies beforehand, practice your elevator pitch, and approach the fair with enthusiasm and curiosity. Dress professionally, bring your resume, and prepare some questions for the recruiters. BE CURIOUS! And encourage your roommate and friends from a club or class to join you!
All of our signature fairs are listed below. You can pre-register for any of these fairs in your 12twenty account dashboard where it will list all fairs currently open for registration.
- From your 12twenty dashboard, look for Events
- Choose the fair you want and click Register Now.
- View the attending employers, by clicking Employers. Be sure to check the list of employers often as new ones register daily. If the fair is more than one day, like the Storrs Fall Fair, click more filters, click Date selection and then choose the date you are planning to attend to see the employers attending that particular day.
