Attending a career fair is a great way to connect with potential employers and explore different opportunities. Employers from various industries will be present, offering internships, co-op positions, and full-time job opportunities. Remember to research the participating companies beforehand, practice your elevator pitch, and approach the fair with enthusiasm and curiosity. Dress professionally, bring your resume, and prepare some questions for the recruiters. BE CURIOUS! And encourage your roommate and friends from a club or class to join you!
All our signature fairs are listed below. You can register for any of these fairs in your 12twenty account where it will list all fairs currently open for registration. For more information on career fairs, please contact career@uconn.edu.
The Center for Career Development acknowledges that the land on which we gather is the territory of the Eastern Pequot (Pea-kwaht), Golden Hill Paugussett (paw-GUS-it), Lenape (Leh-NAH-pay), Mashantucket Pequot (Mash-un-tuck-it Pea-kwaht), Mohegan (Mo-he-gan), Nipmuc and (Nip-muck), and Schaghticoke (ska-teh-COKE) peoples who have stewarded this land throughout the generations. We thank them for their strength and resilience in protecting this land, and aspire to uphold our responsibilities according to their example.
