Experiential Entrepreneurship Research Experience for Undergraduates

Are you a rising junior or senior interested in tech-based research and how it is translated to the marketplace? Are you looking for an opportunity to conduct this research in collaboration with faculty in a research lab? If so, the Connecticut Experiential Entrepreneurship Research Experience for Undergraduates is for you!

The Experiential Entrepreneurship Research Experience for Undergraduates is a 10-week summer program during which students will have the opportunity to conduct hands-on laboratory research while gaining entrepreneurship training.

Students who participate will:

  • Learn valuable lessons from successful entrepreneurs like what it takes to build a viable technology product and what it takes to maintain a startup venture
  • Conduct laboratory research that can produce technologies that can be commercialized

This is a paid opportunity for students to explore their creativity and to learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur. 

Students accepted to the program will receive a $4000 Fellowship Summer Stipend, fully paid housing in UConn residence halls, and a $500 meal allowance.
