Get Seeded is an initiative at UConn that was developed to give students the opportunity to help move their business ideas forward by providing them with seed funding, mentorship, and next step resources. The program provides students with the opportunity to pitch their ideas to an audience of their peers. Teams that are selected to pitch have an opportunity to earn up to $1,000 in seed funding for their idea as well as support from other students who may be interested in joining their team.
Here’s how it works:
1. Interested participants can apply to pitch an idea here
2. Participants are then selected to pitch their idea for 5 minutes at one of our 5 pitch nights to judges and members of the audience
3. Teams can win up to $1,000 in seed funding towards their new business venture or idea
