New Neurodiversity at UConn Microsoft Teams Community

If you are a UConn student who identifies as neurodiverse, consider joining this new Microsoft Teams community along with other neurodiverse students at UConn!

The goal of this community is to build a network of support for students to share their experiences, strategies, and unique perspective and abilities with others in a safe environment. So, whether you’re interested in talking about academics, social life at UConn, or your career development journey, you’ll be able to discuss successes and challenges you are facing with other neurodiverse students in the UConn community.

Never used Microsoft Teams before? Not a problem. All UConn students are able to access a free download of Microsoft Teams via UConn’s Information Technology Services (ITS). The Microsoft Support staff has a great set of instructional videos on their website, including this one called Introduction to Microsoft Teams. Some other great videos to help you get started include one on how to work with posts and messages, one on how to start chats and calls, and one on the Microsoft Teams mobile app.

After you download Microsoft Teams, all you need to do is scan the QR code below to join. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Connie Syharat, INCLUDE Project Manager, at connie.syharat@uconn.edu.
