An ancillary employee, who reports to the Biomedical Engineering Supervisor. The Biomedical Engineering Technician is engaged in the technical support of medical equipment and other patient care technologies. The Biomedical Engineering Technician tests, repairs, and maintains electrical and electromechanical equipment using computerized diagnostic instruments and tools, and follows schematic diagrams and test procedures.
The Infection Preventionist, in collaboration with the Director of Infection Prevention and the Infection Prevention Committee actively participates in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the Medical Center’s Infection Prevention Program. This includes the hospital, including the Rose Seelig and Grover Hermann Division, as well as the Skilled Nursing Unit.
