As a Private Client Associate you will provide administrative, client, and marketing support to one or more Financial Advisors (“FAs”) to enhance and grow their business. Roles and responsibilities may vary dependent upon the FA or team structure. This individual demonstrates extreme competence in all major areas of responsibility and operates with a relatively high level of independence.

- Customer Service – Providing prompt, accurate, and timely responses to requests from clients and potential clients.
- Communication – Providing excellent verbal and written communications to clients and potential clients. Able to compose effective client correspondence in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Initiative – Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational processes.
- Detail Oriented & Organized – Thorough and rigorous attention to detail; superior time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard and maintain client accounts by collecting necessary information and obtaining all required documents.
- Perform operational or administrative functions for client related requests (i.e., check requests, fed funds wires, IRA distributions, changes to personal information, dividend instructions, etc.).
- Work independently with all home office departments to service the clients’ requests.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships through active communication, processing requests in a timely manner, resolving inquiries and making sure key account information is up to date.
- Review and take appropriate action on client account alerts.
- Provide reports and other information to FAs, as requested.
- Assist clients with Janney Online Access and Janney Mobile App to ensure a positive digital experience.
- Actively engage in available firm training and education programs to stay current on policies, procedures and new platforms.
- Be knowledgeable of products and technology and comply with all rules and regulations of the firm, as well as the various regulatory agencies.
What you have:
- High School diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Prior office experience preferred but not required
- Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 preferred or if unlicensed able to obtain licensing within twelve months from date of hire
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Able to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- High ethical standards
