Marketing Communications – Digital Experience Intern
Job Summary:
The summer intern is responsible for assisting the Digital Experience (Website) team in in 3 key areas
- Website Analytics – learn Google Analytics platform to create and read website usage reports, and make page recommendations based on the data.
- Search Engine Optimization – learn key principals in search strategy, leverage tools to research the keywords driving traffic to pages, and how to enhance those words on a page to ultimately drive traffic to the site
- Accessibility – learn the guidelines for WAG 2.1 AA dictating website regulations for compliance, and assist the team identifying the changes to be done to our sites to make them compliant.
Job Details:
This role will join the Digital Experience Team for the summer, learning about the process that Terumo Medical has for managing and maintaining our websites. Work shadow different roles within the team, gaining a familiarity for the process and procedures involved, and watching the sites get update meeting the needs of the business and its brand strategy.
This role will also have a responsibility in assisting the team in the areas of website analytics, search engine optimization and accessibility, which are key projects for the Marketing Team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Understanding of websites, how they work
- Background Experiences
Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Marketing, or Digital Applications, or Media Technologies with an interest in website development.
