Our Injury prevention program is expanding! We are looking to hire an additional Athletic Trainer for our program in Bath, Maine!

We are seeking a talented Industrial Athletic Trainer/ Injury Prevention Professional at our client site in Bath, Maine! In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering early intervention services with the overall focus being prevention of work-related injuries.

Duties will include delivering proactive lineside job coaching, leading/facilitating pre-shift warm-up programs, and leading educational sessions for employees. Injury prevention services will require the Injury Prevention Professional to triage mild injuries and provide education and corrective interventions within scope of position and deemed appropriate within client and OSHA guidelines. All services will be provided in collaboration with the Client’s existing resources and programming, including Heath Services, Safety, Ergonomics, and well-being teams. Additional duties as-needed/assigned.
Schedule: M-F, 8 hours per day /varying schedule between 6:30a-5p
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field.
- Board Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) Certification.
- Current Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
- 2 + years’ experience in athletic training.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
- Ability to travel to other client locations.
- Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a team.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
