About the Role:
Established, rapidly growing asset management firm that invests in global securities on behalf of institutional investors (pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, etc.) is seeking an Investor Relations Jr. Analyst to join its New York office. The professional would join a 3-person Investor Relations team located across London and New York and support new client onboarding, prepare marketing materials, and be involved in overall investor operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues within Fund Accounting, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Trade Operations.
This is an onsite role. Candidates must have the ability to work from our New York office 5 days a week.
Primary Responsibilities (inclusive, but not limited to):
- Update marketing materials including monthly presentations, monthly commentary, monthly risk reports, ad hoc presentations, factsheets, and fund DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires).
- Responsible for completion of RFP’s (Request for Proposals), standard and ad hoc DDQs for prospective and current investors.
- Work closely with respective sales team members to assist with client support and respond to investor queries and requests.
- Responsible for coordinating client operational due diligence meetings and organizing with internal team members.
- Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool with relevant sales pipeline data, enter data for upcoming transactions, create new companies/contacts and update various CRM reports as needed.
- Distribute fund performance metrics via CRM.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Proven track record in crafting high-quality PowerPoint marketing presentations and adept at utilizing Excel for data extraction, analysis, and chart creation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing documents/presentations and writing emails.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effectively manages multiple projects and meets deadlines efficiently.
- Integrity: Maintain a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze information and make sound judgments.
- Work Style: A team player who is also independent and resourceful, with a willingness to learn and contribute innovative solutions to team objectives.
