Pension Assistants support Junior and Senior Consultants with plan administration tasks. Create proposal files, categorize them, and then import the client census into the Pension System. They support Jr. and Sr. Consultants in the compilation of annual valuation and Form 5500 reports, such as Participant Statements and Summary Annual Reports. Remit contributions to the recordkeepers on a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of loan and distribution documents. Assistants will also learn the fundamentals of pension plans and train to become Pension Consultants.
Required Designations/Certifications: Obtain RPF from ASPPA within 6 months of starting the work.
Required Skills/Training/Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Organized and able to meet deadlines. Strong aptitude in Math and Communication.
