My internship allowed me to explore my passion for clinical-based research. I learned how first-hand experience in how molecular research was done and gained an understanding the pathobiology of chronic lung diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Six UConn Stamford students are among the 20 Spectrum Scholars chosen by Spectrum for its newest class of scholars. The Scholarship, designed for underrepresented college students with financial need, grants each recipient with a $20,000 scholarship, a professional Spectrum mentor, and the opportunity for an internship at one of the company’s corporate campuses.
