“I enhanced my Equity & Inclusion competency by learning about intersectionality and how there are many different identities through my Univ, WGSS, and orientation preparation courses. I then utilized what I had learned as an orientation leader who worked with many types of students, including first-gen, transfer, and non-traditional students.” – Maggie C.

“I am currently taking SOCI 1501, which covers Race, Class, and Gender. I also took ANTH 1000 last year. In both of these courses, I have learned about a variety of different cultures and I have become more aware of the issues that our society continues to face everyday.
