Let's Explore

Let’s Explore!

No two career paths look alike. Whether you’re undeclared and exploring possibilities, declared and learning about opportunities, or focused on a specific career, it’s beneficial to your development to research the vast pool of career options available to you. That’s exactly what you can do with Career Communities!

Career Communities are industry-focused groups that assist undergraduate and graduate students in narrowing down their career aspirations into manageable and relevant fields. They also allow faculty, staff, employers, and alumni to interact with students through specific and targeted communities by participating as mentors, writing blogs and success stories, or helping guide students to the Communities that fall within their career interests.

The “Let’s Explore” Community is for students exploring their career options. Below you will find helpful resources, including blogs and success stories covering multiple industries, alumni mentors who help guide students researching career options, job market insights, “landing spots” for recent UConn graduates, and more.

You can use the dropdown menu above to go to industry-specific Communities. You can also click the Follow this Community button to have community updates, including new blogs and internship and job opportunities delivered directly to your inbox!
