Engage in Employer Opportunities
The following options can be available to employers in order to promote awareness of their organization and market job opportunities available for students. Inquire with your Corporate Partner Relations contact or email recruiting@uconn.edu to learn more.
- Career Conversations: Informal tabling opportunities (virtual or in-person) at various schools, colleges, and campuses.
- Co-Host a Career Program: Co-host a career program, virtually or in-person, with the Center for Career Development, and answer student questions from the employer perspective
- UConn Career Champion Program: The Career Champion Program connects and engages faculty, staff, alumni, and employer partners who are actively assisting UConn students in determining and reaching their career goals
- Employer Site Visits: Invite UConn students for a tour of your offices virtually or in-person.
- Information Sessions: Showcase your organization and speak about your organization’s operations, mission, and career opportunities. Set up an employer-hosted in person or virtual event in Handshake and share with UConn students – for undergraduates, graduates and/or PhD’s.
- Virtual or In-Person Interviews: Interview students in-person (Storrs and Stamford), or set up virtual interviews with any UConn student via Handshake and conduct the interview on your virtual platform
- Employer Guest Blogger: Write a blog (500 word or less) about your organization that aligns with one of our Career Communities or Affinity Community Pages. To submit a guest blog, click here.
